4 Steps to Making a Durable Chopping Board for Your Kitchen

1. Assemble and prepare the wood

The first step is to assemble the appropriate piece of wood for your chopping board. At the same time, you should be able to prepare the piece of wood accordingly.

For starters, it’s of utmost importance to ensure that the piece of wood isn’t warped. After that, ensure that your piece of wood is cut smoothly to the precise dimensions.

3. Clamp the woods together

Even so, you should be cautious to use small pieces of parchment papers along the edges. This will prevent the glue from sticking on the clamps. It’ll also ensure that the chopping board is not damaged in any way. 

When you’re entirely sure that the two boards are firmly stuck together, wipe away any glue that squeezes out of the two boards using a damp rag. Ascertain that the two boards are firmly clamped together for a while to ensure that they stick together.  

4. Scrape off any extra glue to finish your board
